The Zverevs defeated Austin Krajicek and Artem Sitak 2: 6, 7: 6 (4) and 10: 5 after 90 minutes and won the second joint title on the ATP tour after Montpellier in 2017. In individual cases, Sascha had lost 3: 6 and 4: 6 to Nick Kyrgios.
On their way to the final, Alexander and Mischa had defeated the American legends Bob and Mike Bryan in addition to the Spanish Davis Cup doubles Marc and Feliciano Lopez.
