The coaching carousel revolves around women and men

Whether very close to the top of the world like Karolina Pliskova or further back as with Nicolas Jarry: New brooms should return well in 2020.

The new occupations, for example, in the German top women are well documented: Jens Gerlach will now permanently take care of the concerns of Julia Görges, after the two have worked together in the final phase of the 2019 season. Angelique Kerber wants Dieter Kindlmann back to the top of the world, while Simona Halep, who can at least build on a Wimbledon victory, will be traveling with Darren Cahill again. Karolina Pliskova said goodbye to Conchita Martinez, but with Garbine Muguruza she has already found a new (and old) task. Pliskova, on the other hand, is now trying Daniel Valverdu, who has been on the men's level so far.

In the men's division of duties in the team Djokovic changes a little towards Goran Ivanisevic, but Marian Vajda remains at least equal coach. Fabio Fognini has obviously enjoyed his Davis Cup experience so much that he also wants to work on the ATP tour with Corrado Barazzutti. A few floors down, Nicolas Jarry has secured the services of Dante Bottini, who has already made Kei Nishikori better.

After all, Feliciano Lopez next year seems to have something in addition to his job as tournament director in Madrid, but separated for safety's sake once from coach Jose Clavet. Without a replacement for his compatriot announce.
