Ultimate Tennis Showdown: Dominic Thiem beats Goffin
Dominic Thiem took his second win at the Ultimate Tennis Showdown.

Thiem beat his "fear opponent" David Goffin 3: 1 (15:10, 16:11, 13:10, 14:16) on Saturday evening and celebrated his second victory in the third game of the invitation series. Last weekend he lost to Richard Gasquet, then won to Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Patrick Mouratoglou's show event uses a special counting system: four quarters in ten minutes each, the winner is the player with the most points. In the case of a 2: 2, a "Sudden Death" would decide. Playing cards can also be drawn that tie point wins to certain requirements.
Thiem had been missing on the first weekend in Nice because he had taken part in the Adriatic tour in Belgrade .
The win against Goffin - not a matter of course. On the regular tour, Thiem is 3: 7 behind in direct comparison.
It was only on Friday that Thiem secured the title at the Generali Austrian Pro Series .
