Matteo Berrettini and Jannik Sinner could make their debut in the traditional Queen's Club this year - the two Italians appear on the entry list of the ATP 500 event. And there should be strong competition for them in London, as Diego Schwartman, Stan Wawrinka and Denis Shapovalov have confirmed a number of other top stars.

"I've heard a lot about the cinch championships in Queen's Club and have always wanted to play here," Berrettini is quoted by the organizers of the ATP 500 event. "I showed a lot of good tennis in 2021 and I hope that I can play my best game on grass. If so, I believe that I can go far on this surface," said the top 10 player .

Murray and Wawrinka return z

In addition to Wawrinka, Andy Murray, another former Grand Slam winner, will return to the ATP tour. Like Wawrinka, the Scot had only recently decided to end the clay court season early - and thus skip the French Open - and instead prepare intensively for the grass season.

The two veterans will compete in Great Britain with the youngster Sinner, who, however, has only positive words ready for the grass event: "I'm really excited to play there. So many great players in the past have won there, I've heard them The quality of the grass pitches is said to be great there. I can't wait to play on them. "

The traditional tournament in the Queen's Club will start on June 14th and after a one-year intermezzo - the tournament was canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19 - it will take place again. The last edition in 2019 was won by Feliciano Lopez, with Andy Murray a multiple champion will also serve in London in 2021.
