Tennis professionals Daniel Masur (Bückeburg) and Oskar Otte (Cologne) are in the main draw of the All England Championships in Wimbledon for the first time (from June 28). The Germans prevailed on Thursday in the qualification of the traditional Grand Slam tournament. At the draw for the grass highlight on Friday, Masur and Otte can hope for well-known opponents.
The last qualifying round went worse for Jule Niemeier, who already found a match point in her final game, but finally had to admit defeat 4: 6, 6: 2, 7: 9 against the Dutch woman Lesley Pattinama Kerkhove.
