Question one: Who can dare to beat Novak Djokovic?

Answer one: nobody. Except maybe Nole himself. Because the truth is this: Djokovic's match record in Wimbledon is 79:10. The last opponent to leave the court as a winner against the Serb was Tomas Berdych in the quarter-finals of 2017. At that time, however, Novak Djokovic had to give up. The last "regular" conqueror of Djokovic? Sam Querrey in 2016. You ask about Matteo Berrettini? Yes. Very impressive that the Italian also won his two comeback tournaments at the same time. But out of four matches against Djokovic, Berrettini also lost four. Among other things, in the Wimbledon final in 2021.

Question Two: Will the Spanish nation's foot hold?

Answer two: Rafael Nadal has taught his doubters twice in the current season. First at the Australian Open, when he seemed to be losing in the final against Daniil Medvedev. Then in Roland Garros with the empathetic victory against Djokovic and the lucky progress against Alexander Zverev. And now Wimbledon, which nobody in Paris had expected. One thing should be clear: if Nadal competes in London, it will not be to get a pat on the back for a hard-fought quarter-finals entry. But because he believes that the injured foot has seven successful lawn matches in it.

Question three: What can we expect from Serena Williams?

Answer three: Phew. With ALL. And again nothing. In Eastbourne, it was only used in doubles, so without any match practice, the draw will be extremely important in Wimbledon. Of course, none of the seeded players want to play against Serena right away (especially on a big court), but the same applies vice versa. Dry weather, working serve, a good draw - maybe we'll actually see 'SW23' in week two.

Question Four: Who will be missed the most?

Answer four: The Russians and Belarusians are not allowed, Roger Federer is always a pleasure to see at Wimbledon - but we will really miss Alexander Zverev. The one, we are now leaning far out of the window when the reigning French Open champion would have arrived. Hattiwari, of course. But Zverev is long overdue for the big coup. And if someone can save them through a whole tournament with the serve, then Zverev. Then again: If someone can shoot themselves out with double faults, it's Zverev.

Question five: How much will the strawberries with liquid cream cost this time?

Answer five: It's best to do your own research. Queue up, spend the night in a tent and then head straight to the fun. It sucks anyway - once you've entered the sacred venue on Church Road, the one English pound doesn't matter anymore.
