A good draw for defending champion Novak Djokovic: The third in the world rankings meets Sonwoo Kwon at the start of his Wimbledon mission in 2022. Thanasi Kokkinakis could wait in round 2, in the round of 16 service artist Reilly Opelka.

Rafael Nadal, bottom of the draw, plays against Francisco Cerundolo. Possible round of 16 opponent for Rafa is Marin Cilic, finalist at Wimbledon in 2017. /

Last year's finalist Matteo Berrettini has to compete with Cristian Garin.

An interesting hammer in round 1: Stan Wawrinka against Jannik Sinner! Also an eye-catcher: Felix Auger-Aliassime against serve-and-volley specialist Maxime Cressy!

Stefanos Tsitsipas plays against Alexander Ritschard, Nick Kyrgios can play against Paul Jubb - both could meet in round 3. Andy Murray, a two-time winner in Wimbi and most recently in the Stuttgart final, opens against James Duckworth. Co-favorite Hubert Hurkacz meets Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.

Carlos Alcaraz meets Struffi

And where did Carlos Alcaraz end up, the spring's shooting star? He plays against Jan-Lennard Struff.

A German-German duel to start with: Oscar Otte versus Peter Gojowczyk. After Gael Monfils' rejection, Otte was still among the seeded, so he is number 32 in the All England Club.

Other games involving Germany: Daniel Altmaier meets Mikael Ymer, Maximilian Marterer meets Aljaz Bedene, Dominik Koepfer meets Daniel Elahi Galan, Nicola Kuhn meets Brandon Nakashima.
