Here is the match to read in the live ticker.

A few weeks ago, Tim van Rijthoven won his first match ever on the ATP tour in 's-Hertogenbosch, then his first tournament there (with a smooth final victory against Daniil Medvedev). And now the Dutchman was allowed to play against the defending champion Novak Djokovic after two successful appearances in Wimbledon. Under the closed Center Court roof on Sunday evening.

And at least in the second set, van Rijthoven was able to challenge the big favorite, yes, even annoy him for a moment. In the end, however, Djokovic prevailed 6: 2, 4: 6, 6: 1 and 6: 2 and thus made it into the quarter-finals. There he surprisingly meets Jannik Sinner, who was also able to defeat Carlos Alcaraz in four sets. Djokovic and Sinner have only played against each other once, in 2020 in Monte-Carlo the Serb was able to assert himself in two rounds.

The second quarter-final in the top half is even more interesting from a home perspective: Cameron Norrie meets David Goffin. While the Brit had no problems with Tommy Paul, Goffin had to go the full distance against Frances Tiafoe, eventually winning 7-5 in the fifth set.
