Wimbledon 2022: Sebastian Ofner loses in the third qualifying round
Sebastian Ofner has failed in the third round of qualifying for Wimbledon 2022 with a four-set loss to Radu Albot.

The match in Roehampton started well for Ofner, the Styrian won the first set 6:2. Then, however, Albot got into the match better and won the remaining three rounds with 6:3, 6:4 and 7:5. Most recently in Roland Garros, Ofner had mastered three qualifying hurdles, but was inferior to Alexander Zverev in the first round after an appealing performance.
This makes Dennis Novak the last remaining Austrian in the qualification. Novak is currently playing against Stefan Kozlov from the USA.
