It was the expected exciting match between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Nick Kyrgios on Saturday evening. Those who attended took away a lot of impressions.

Sleep on it at least once, this old basic rule should also be taken into account when evaluating the very entertaining match between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Nick Kyrgios. And please: with the distance of more than twelve hours after the end of the game, the following impressions have stuck...
- Fascinating - yes, we have to start with that - the ball children. Kyrgios kept the breaks between rallies incredibly short. The girls and boys have adapted to this speed when transporting the balls. Fantastic.
- But on the same thing: Incomprehensible that Tsitsipas did the same. And didn't go to his towel now and then. He could have borrowed from Alexander Zverev. In Roland Garros, he pretty much threw Carlos Alcaraz out of rhythm.
- It's very difficult to tell whose side the majority of the fans were on. In the fourth set more with Tsitsipas. But that was due to the fact that almost all neutral spectators would have liked to see a fifth set. There was a pretty fantastic tiebreak for that.
- Closing the roof - a very special thing. The closing process is interrupted every few meters. And the whole thing takes a surprisingly long time. Especially if you have the procedure in HalleWestfalen in mind.
- Basically, of course, it's great that there is a roof. On the one hand, because most games can be played to the end with it. On the other hand, because with the roof closed, the temperatures rise again pleasantly. Which benefits all those who watched the game in a T-shirt in youthful exuberance.
- Kyrgios is entertaining, gets people into the stadiums, is fantastic at tennis. But there are also a few things in his repertoire that are simply unnecessary. Tsitsipas plays a setback - and Kyrgios yells: "Great Return". Does not have to be.
- But of course also worth mentioning: the frequency with which Tsitsipas wanted to shoot through Kyrgios. Ivan Lendl will not have been particularly shocked, but it was amazing in tennis in the 2020s.
- And: The games started on Friday during training. Tsitsipas practiced with Mark Philippoussis, Kyrgios came by and made a few comments. Not bad at all. But the Tsitsipas team didn't take it with humor.
- The assessment of the match in the press conferences was somewhat different: Tsitsipas called Kyrgios a "bully", which Australians said he had done nothing wrong. Once again, Kyrgios' outfit is striking: a T-shirt with Dennis Rodman's likeness. Many years ago he launched a book entitled "Bad As I Wanna Be".
