Wimbledon: Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova win women's doubles title

The Czechs Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova clearly won the women's doubles final at Wimbledon in two sets against the first seeded Elise Mertens (Belgium) and Shuai Zhang (China).

Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova are happy about their second Wimbledon title in doubles

The Czechs Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova have won the doubles title at Wimbledon for the second time. The second-seeded duo beat defending champion Elise Mertens from Belgium and her Chinese partner Zhang Shuai 6-2, 6-4 after just 67 minutes of play.

In 2018, Krejcikova and Siniakova triumphed for the first time at the All England Club. Overall, it was their fifth Grand Slam title together. This year they had already won the Australian Open in Melbourne.
