Serve and volley expert Maxime Cressy (ATP No. 45) caused a surprise thanks to old Wimbledon virtues and knocked out Felix Auger-Aliassime, who was seeded six, in round 1.

Cressy won 6: 7 (5), 6: 4, 7: 6 (9) and 7: 6 (5) against the Canadian and is now in round 2 of the All England Championships.
The American, who has only been a member of the top 100 since the beginning of the year, plays merciless serve-and-volley - and successfully so: he ended 88 of his 120 serve-and-volley attempts against Auger-Aliassime with a point win, clinching a total Cressy 95 of his 134 points at net, a 71 percent win rate - strong!
Another number: Auger-Aliassime only had one break chance in the entire encounter... which he didn't convert.
