Last year, Wimbledon was canceled for the first time since World War II. Now the organizers want to take all measures to be able to react as flexibly as possible to changed circumstances caused by the corona pandemic. The decision about the capacity of the audience should therefore only be made "as late as possible".

However, it already seems certain that the famous "queue" in which fans queue for tickets will not exist.

As in the Grand Slams, the players and members of the tournament will have to stay in hotels in order to minimize the risk of infection. In the past few years, many players had rented private accommodation at Wimbledon.

Novak Djokovic and Simona Halep will start the race as defending champions.
