World Padel Tour Masters: Galan and Lebron also triumph at the end of the year
Favorites win at the final tournament of the World Padel Tour 2022 in Barcelona: Juan Lebron and Alejandro Galan, who have dominated events throughout the season, prevailed against a surprise couple in the final in three sets.

It was to be expected that Alejandro Galan and Juan Lebron would be in the final of the Masters of the World Padel Tour 2022 in Barcelona. The opponents of the two season dominators caused one surprise after the other in the Catalan capital: Federico Chingotto and Martin di Nenno defeated second seeded Daniel Guiterrez and Augustin Tapa at the start. And this surprise followed Chingotto and di Nenna in the semifinals against Juan Tello and Francisco Navarra.
Galan and Lebron also showed themselves untouchable on their way to the final, giving up only seven games in four sets. In the final, however, the favorites had to stretch themselves, but won 6:4, 6:7 (5) and 6:2.
The women's two best teams of the year, who had reached the Masters in the race almost equally, met in Barcelona. And Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay prevailed in the final against the slightly favored Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sanchez 3: 6, 6: 4 and 6: 4.
