Full hut at Padel? That's not uncommon on the World Tour

It's no longer a secret that padel is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. The e|motion group is now taking this trend into account by holding a tournament of the World Padel Tour in Austria for the first time. With the premiere of the WPT Vienna Open from June 6th to 12th, 2022 , Vienna joins cities such as Miami, Stockholm, Madrid, Copenhagen and Buenos Aires as the venue for the most important international padel tournament series with the highest sporting quality. Accordingly, the best players in the world can also be seen in the STEFFL Arena.

With this event, the e|motion group once again lives up to its reputation of developing and professionally implementing innovations in the sports industry. The WPT Vienna Open is organized in cooperation with PADELZONE , the largest padel provider in Austria.

Stay with Serena Williams or Zlatan Ibrahimovic too

Padel is played in doubles with four players, with the counting being based on tennis. The padel court is 20 by 10 meters in size and is divided into two fields. There are walls on all four sides that are included in the game, which quickly leads to attractive rallies at any level.

Padel is also so popular because it can be learned quickly by young and old. Liverpool star coach Jürgen Klopp , Manuel Neuer , Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marc Janko all discovered their love for this sport from the footballer camp, as did tennis aces Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal and beach volleyball player Clemens Doppler .

So that all fans and interested parties can experience padel themselves, the PADELZONE will also offer four indoor courts in Hall 3 of the STEFFL Arena from March. More information will follow shortly at www.padelzone.at . Ticket presale for the WPT Vienna Open begins on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 09:00.
