"Due to the fact that the past few weeks have been very intense for me and I've lost a lot of grains, I don't come here with the claim of winning the tournament," said the 22-year-old from Dortmund: "Even though I was here in the Bundesliga last year played in the semifinals."
The German hopeful is favored in her first round duel against the Swiss Joanne Zuger and receives more attention than before her strong run on the grass classic. At Wimbledon she narrowly failed in the German duel against Tatjana Maria.
