The fact that Andrea Petkovic is very well read rarely makes a secret of it herself. Petkovic loves books - now she wants to share her love: with the founding of the " racquetbookclub ".

The first book in the field of tennis: String Theory by David Foster Wallace. The American was a big tennis fan and wrote about his passion again and again - five essays are contained in the beautifully edited collection. The Federer piece Federer Both Flesh and Not (once published as Federer as a Religious Experience ) had made Foster Wallace famous in tennis circles.

But of course it's not just about tennis. Where Petkovic is, Dostoevsky is not far.

Petkovics rules for their book club

1) always talk about it
2) Don't be arrogant teachers (or are you?)
3) Don't finish reading books that aren't good for you (decision after 20 percent)
4) Think of the community - help others when they don't understand something
5) Help the book club run - for example with the hashtag #racquetbookclub

Have fun! #stayhome
