Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Milos Raonic - this was the list of players who had not beaten Roberto Bautista Agut at least three times without defeat this week. Jannik Sinner has also been a member of this highly decorated group since Thursday, as the 19-year-old prevailed against the Spaniard in the round of 16 of the clay court event in Barcelona.
In a highly competitive first set, Sinner fended off three set balls in the tie-break and finally secured the short decision with 11: 9. In the second round, the Italian had a much easier game.
