ATP Challenger Guayaquil: Daniel Altmaier wins the title!
Daniel Altmaier won the title at the Guayaquil Challenger event. On the other hand, things went less well for Jan-Lennard Struff and Anna-Lena Friedsam .

Great success for Daniel Altmaier: The German won the title at the Challenger event in Guayaquil with a 6-2 and 6-4 win over top seed Federico Coria. The 24-year-old had triumphed in Lima just the week before. Thanks to his strong performance, Altmaier has moved up to 80th place in the world rankings.
Jan-Lennard Struff, on the other hand, missed the title at the Challenger tournament in Bergamo. The 32-year-old lost 6-2 and 7-5 in the final to Otto Virtanen.
On the women's side, Anna-Lena Friedsam clearly lost the final of the WTA 125 event in Midland to Catherine McNally, who was seventh, 3:6 and 2:6.
