And Spain will compete with the best line-up, as reported by marca.com : In addition to Nadal (ATP No. 2), Roberto Bautista Agut (ATP No. 13) and Pablo Carreno Busta (ATP No. 16) will also be there, so with that the best three individual players in Spain. And: the best double player - with Marcel Granollers (ATP No. 9).

Spain should have a good chance of doing well in the second edition of the ATP Cup. Last year they made it to the final, where Serbia finally won. Bautista Agut had given the Spanish leadership with a victory over Dusan Lajovic, Novak Djokovic then won against Nadal. Djokovic and Viktor Troicki won the decisive double against Carreno Busta and Feliciano Lopez.

In contrast to the premiere in 2020, the ATP Cup this year will only consist of 12 teams (instead of 24) due to the corona pandemic and will only take place from February 1st to 5th.

Also new: The teams will be on the field in uniform clothing this year, similar to the Davis Cup. A good omen for Spain? After all, they won the last Davis Cup at the end of 2019.
