A short "Yes" on the network sealed the strong performance of Philipp Kohlschreiber on Wednesday at the ATP Tour 500 tournament in HalleWestfalen. The German veteran came back online and used his first match ball against Corentin Moutet, making it to the quarter-finals of the best-attended tournament in Germany. After winning the first set, Kohlschreiber was also the better player in round two. But did not manage to take the serve from his French opponent. Moutet, on the other hand, was once again very self-absorbed, dissatisfied with Hawkeye and the world in general. Kohlschreiber did not get involved in Moutet's verbal skirmishes and remained focused until the end.

The long-time German number one was able to see his upcoming opponent for Friday right after his own match: Andrey Rublev went into the game with Jordan Thompson as the clear favorite. Jan-Lennard Struff's match against Marcos Giron was scheduled later on Wednesday, while Alexander Zverev will play his round of 16 game against Ugo Humbert on Thursday.
