After the first set at the ATP lawn tournament in Halle/Westphalia, it looked like there would be a final between Daniil Medvedev and Nick Kyrgios, but in the end the Pole Hubert Hurkacz won 4: 6 in a real tie-break thriller after 2:04 hours of play, 7:6 (2), 7:6 (4) through. In total, the two strong serve players threw 57 aces at each other during the entire game - the "enfant terrible" from Australia even three more than his victorious opponent. Daniil Medvedev had previously defeated local hero Oscar Otte in two sets.

Here the single tableau from Halle.
