The German language is not (yet) one of Carlos Alcaraz's strengths

Carlos Alcaraz is probably the hottest iron that international tennis currently has to offer. The 19-year-old from the Murcia region has now undoubtedly made his breakthrough to the top of the world and this season alone he won two ATP Masters 1000 (Miami, Madrid) and two ATP World Tour 500 tournaments (Rio de Janeiro, Barcelona) - at the clay court event at Rothenbaum, another can come from the second.

What the very young Iberian will be able to take with him from the Hanseatic city, even if he is defeated in the final, is the certainty that German is a difficult language to master. The colleagues from "Tennis Channel International" asked the world number seven in front of the microphone to elicit a few sentences in North German dialect from him. The result is a linguistically less successful experiment, which on the other hand is worth a look for precisely that reason. We laugh with you, Carlitos, not at you...

Here the single tableau from Hamburg.
