Novak Djokovic's visa has again been revoked by the Australian authorities. Immigration Secretary Alex Hawke announced on Friday. If the Serbian tennis star does not successfully appeal, he will have to leave the country and will not be able to defend his title at the Australian Open, which starts on Monday. Djokovic is also threatened with a three-year entry ban to Australia.

On Monday, the unvaccinated world number one got his visa back after a partial success in court and was able to leave the accommodation for those obliged to leave the country, where he had to stay after arriving last Wednesday due to non-compliance with the pandemic entry requirements. Since then, the Australian government has considered further steps.
