This was announced by international journalists via the short message service Twitter.
Novak Djokovic injured his thigh at the start of the season in Adelaide, where the Serb won the title in a thrilling final against Sebastian Korda, and has been dragging this injury through the final moments of preparation for the first major event of the 2023 season ever since. Most recently However, Djokovic was able to start as planned in an exhibition match against Nick Kyrgios. The Australian, on the other hand, pulled out of the Australian Open one day before his first round match due to injury.
In round one Novak Djokovic expects the Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena tomorrow, Tuesday. Overall, the draw meant well with the nine-time Australian champion, a possible third-round opponent is Grigor Dimitrov, and Pablo Carreno Busta could wait in the round of 16. Scheduled opponents in the quarterfinals are Andrey Rublev or Holger Rune.
