Two-time Australian Open winner Victoria Azarenka still has a chance of winning her third title in Melbourne. Ten years after her second and so far last victory in the country's second largest city, the 33-year-old is already in the round of 16. On Friday, Azarenka defeated Madison Keys 1-6, 6-2 and 6-1 in the third round.
And the journey could well go on for Azarenka, as she surprisingly doesn't have to deal with Maria Sakkari in the round of 16. The number six of the tournament was defeated by the world number 87. Lin Zhu in the last match of the day with 6:7 (3), 6:1 and 4:6.
A little earlier on Friday, Iga Swiatek, Jessica Pegula and Cori Gauff, among others, were able to win .
