Barbora Krejcikova and Rajeev Ram secured the title

Immediately after the women's final between Naomi Osaka and Jennifer Brady, in which the Japanese had secured her fourth Grand Slam title , the mixed final took place in the Rod Laver Arena. In this Barbora Krejcikova / Rajeev Ram and Sam Stosur / Matthew Ebden faced each other.

The Czech and her American partner got off to a great start and secured the first round 6: 1 after just 22 minutes. The second set was much more even, but in the tenth game Krejcikova / Ram struck and fixed the 6: 1 and 6: 4 success.

Krejcikova thus defended her title from the previous year, which she won together with Nikola Mektic. The Czech had already won in Melbourne in 2019, at the side of Ram. For the American, this year's triumph is the second Mixed Grand Slam title of his career.
