Australian Open draw: Djokovic there, Zverev on Nadal course
With a short delay, the draw for the Australian Open 2022 still took place. For Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev there are duels against compatriots.

45 minutes after the originally planned start, the draws for the first major in 2022 were announced. And yes: Novak Djokovic is part of the 128 grid. The first hurdle on the way to the tenth title in Melbourne will be his compatriot Miomir Kecmanovic. Alexander Zverev, who was drawn in the upper half with Djokovic, starts with Daniel Altmaier. Zverev's first opponent could be Llyod Harris from South Africa in round three.
Last year's finalist Daniil Medvedev opened against Henri Laaksonen from Switzerland. Rafael Nadal, who won his 89th career title in Melbourne a few days ago, has to face off in round one. The Spaniard could meet Alexander Zverev in the quarter-finals.
