Hewitt will start with fellow countryman Jordan Thompson like last week, the first round task looks very solvable with Ji Sung Nam and Min-Kyu Song, both from South Korea. Defending champions Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert are number one, Lukasz Kubot and Marcelo Melo are in second place. Their Grand Slam farewell tour begins with Bob and Mike Bryan in 13th place against Rohan Bopana and Yasutaka Uchiyama.

The German Davis Cup doubles followed with Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies . "Kramies" will play against the two Kazakhs Alexander Bublik and Mikhail Kukushkin. From a German perspective, Jan-Lennard Struff will compete with Henri Kontinen and Tim Pütz with Frederik Nielsen.

The two Austrian veterans Jürgen Melzer and Oliver Marach got it pretty well: Marach is ninth with Raven Klaasen, starts against the youngsters Casper Ruud and Miomir Kecmanovic. Mlzer plays with Edouard Roger-Vasselin against Sander Arends and Ricardas Berankis. Only Philipp Oswald was given an inherently unpleasant task: With Marcus Daniell, the Vorarlberger meets Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos, who reached the final of the US Open last year.
