World ranked first Rafael Nadal clearly won his first round game at the Australian Open 2020. Stan Wawrinka had to fight a little more.

Nadal beat Bolivian Hugo Dellien 6: 2, 6: 3 and 6: 0 and is therefore in the second round.
The Spaniard needed 2 hours and 2 minutes for his clear success, in which he won 38 but also 21 mistakes without an emergency. Nadal got eight breaks, his opponent also managed two - in return he only played three own service games.
Nadal, winner from 2009, is now waiting for the winner of the game between Federico Delbonis and Joao Sousa.
Wawrinka further, "FAA" out
The winner from 2014, Stan Wawrinka, had to do more work. The Swiss fought Damir Dzumhur with 7: 5, 6: 7 (4), 6: 4 and 6: 4 - next opponent: Miomir Kecmanovic or Andreas Seppi.
Fabio Fognini, meanwhile, did well during the rain break on Monday. The Italian turned his match canceled on the opening day against the American Reilly Opelka and won 3: 6, 6: 7 (3), 6: 4, 6: 3 and 7: 6 (10: 5). He now meets local hero Jordan Thompson.
