Dominic Thiem plays in the third round in the John Cain Arena

It is the game that attracts the most attention in the third round of the Australian Open: Dominic Thiem against Nick Kyrgios. Therefore, despite the love affair between the Australian and the 10,500-seat John Cain Arena, it is quite surprising that the match will only take place on the second largest court in the facility. The match is not scheduled before 9:00 a.m. CET.

The game starts at Kyrgios' favorite place at 01:00 CET with the encounter between Su-Wei Hsieh and Sara Errani. Then Ons Jabeur and Naomi Osaka face each other before Aslan Karatsev and Diego Schwartzman round off the program before the big hit between Thiem and Kyrgios ( from 9:00 a.m. in the tennisnet live ticker and on ServusTV).

Zverev in the afternoon, Djokovic in the evening

At the beginning of the day session, two women's matches are on the program in the Rod Laver Arena: Aryna Sabalenka and Ann Li will also start at 01:00 CET, followed by Anastasia Potapova and Serena Williams. Then Alexander Zverev will make his third appearance at this year's Australian Open against Adrian Mannarino ( from around 4:30 a.m. in the tennisnet live ticker ).

In the night session, Veronika Kudermetova and Simona Halep will duel from 9:00 a.m.CET, before Australian Open record winner Novak Djokovic meets Taylor Fritz.

Spectators will also get their money's worth in the Margaret Court Arena, which has space for 7,500 fans during pandemic-free times. The men’s duels between Grigor Dimitrov and Pablo Carreno Busta or Denis Shapovalov and Felix Auger-Aliassime can be seen, while the women’s Garbine Muguruza and Iga Swiatek want to buy their round of 16 ticket.
