Wozniacki resigned from professional tennis after the Australian Open 2020 after losing to Ons Jabeur. It was fitting, she said at the time, that she ended her career after a long rally with a forehand error.
Two years earlier, at the Australian Open 2018, she had fulfilled her big dream of the Grand Slam title after losing in the finals of the 2009 and 2014 US Open.
Wozniacki has been in a relationship with former professional basketball player David Lee since 2017, and both were married in 2019.
