Covid-19: German Tennis Federation launches information offensive for clubs, coaches and players
The corona crisis has a profound impact on organized tennis. Clubs, coaches and players now have a lot of questions. The German Tennis Association has therefore decided with “wirhelfentennis.de” ( www.wirhelfentennis.de ) a new information platform .

Here the affected target groups are supported, suggestions for coping with the crisis are made and access to existing aid offers is shown.

Due to the spread of the corona virus and the associated standstill of the entire sports business, many new questions have arisen for clubs, trainers and tennis players. With the online platform "wirhelfentennis.de", the German Tennis Federation wants to give these target groups a point of contact with information, assistance and suggestions for dealing with the unusual and difficult situation.
“Wirhelfentennis.de” answers legal, practical and organizational questions relating to the effects of the Federal Government's measures to contain the corona virus on tennis. The website also sees itself as a guide to the relevant institutions. Trainers, officials and players can also use the contact form to ask questions or provide feedback. There are also ideas and suggestions on how to use tennis-free time in a meaningful way.
"We don't just want to inform the tennis community, we also want to call for solidarity," explains DTB President Ulrich Klaus, one of the project's most important goals. “Sport means team spirit, and we appeal to that, because many players in our sport are fighting for their economic existence during this time. We shouldn't leave them out in the rain, but should give them the best possible support - so that there are still enough places to play tennis after the crisis, enough coaches to train us in technique and tactics, and also the restaurants where we go after tennis so happy to sit together in a sociable group. "
