Alexander Zverev: Society for Lövik?

"He looks pretty happy, and I'm happy to take him home," said the third in the world rankings with his new friend in his arms.

In Zverev's home in Monte Carlo, the two-month-old terrier mix Pop will meet family dog Lövik, who has participated in numerous tournaments and already has many of his own fans. An Instagram account of the Poodle has 2300 followers , and newcomer Pop already has one .

Zverev is followed by more than 700,000 people, and there may be a few more if he gets his luck on the court in Miami. The previous year's finalist is in second place, after a walk-through to start he gets to deal with David Ferrer (Spain) or Sam Querrey (USA).

At the shelter, Zverev was accompanied by brother Mischa as well as Belinda Bencic, John Isner and Jelena Ostapenko.

Professional tennis players on the go for a good cause

In general, a few professionals in Miami volunteered for a good cause. Petra Kvitova, Marin Cilic, Nick Kyrgios and Diego Schwartzman competed at Unicef Kids Power, Wimbledon winner Garbine Muguruza, David Ferrer, Grigor Dimitrov, Annett Kontaveit and Borna Coric for the Miami Rescue Mission.
