Vallverdu is considered a connoisseur of the scene and worked among others with Andy Murray, Tomas Berdych, Juan Martin del Potro, Grigor Dimitrov and Stan Wawrinka together. Now, the 33-year-old will now for the first time accept a professional in women's tennis.
"He has achieved great results with his players, understands tennis like no other and I am sure he will bring me a lot and I am looking forward to preparing for the season," said Pliskova, who had previously worked with Conchita Martinez.
Vallverdu is also looking forward to the new challenge full of anticipation. "Karolina is a great player and I will work with her to achieve her goals, the WTA tour is something new to me, but I like challenges," said the Venezuelan.
The second-ranked team is complemented by former doubles player Olga Savchuk.
