The World Anti-Doping Agency found a substance on the prohibited list in a urine sample from Yastremska. The ITF rejected Yastremska's objection for the time being, although the number 29 in the world even traveled to the bubble of the Australian Open and is currently preparing for the first Grand Slam of the year.

"The CAS has started its work, both parties have agreed on a process that will end in a final decision on February 3rd," said the CAS.

Yastremska has so far vehemently denied having consumed performance-enhancing substances. She emphasized that the positive test was due to pollution.
