1. Ranking and LK tournaments

The entire tournament landscape in the DTB (international, national as well as all ranking and LK tournaments) will be canceled by June 7, 2020. All results achieved up to this date will not be counted for the DTB ranking list or for the LK. This applies to all age groups, wheelchair tennis, beach tennis and paddle. This procedure is analogous to the cancellation of all tournaments by the tennis world associations ITF, WTA, ATP and Tennis Europe.

2. Team competition operation summer 2020

The earliest date for team games at the DTB is June 8, 2020.

The 1st and 2nd Bundesliga women will be completely canceled for 2020. It follows that there will be no promoters or relegated teams in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga.

The match days scheduled until June 7, 2020 will be canceled for the men's 30 leagues. In coordination with the clubs, it will be clarified whether there will be a complete cancellation or a catch-up of the match days.

The regional leagues and the regional associations are advised not to provide any media games or point games before June 8, 2020.

3. Great games and championships

The big games of the national associations will be canceled for all age groups for 2020. This applies to all age groups, wheelchair tennis, beach tennis and paddle.

The German Youth Championships Summer 2020 in Ludwigshafen have been canceled for the planned date (June 4-7). An appointment in late summer will be checked.

4. Next steps

In cooperation with the responsible government agencies, the DTB will keep an eye on the situation regarding COVID-19 and take further decisions depending on the situation. The DTB will inform the regional associations, the regional leagues and the public about this in good time.
