Elena Vesnina is planning a comeback
Elena Vesnina , formerly number 13 in the WTA individual ranking, wants to return after her baby break.

The 34-year-old announced this on Instagram.
"There is news, I'm coming back to the WTA tour. I'm very excited and at the same time a bit scared," she wrote - garnished by a laughing emoji.
She will not announce her tournament calendar until later, she said, and is still waiting for the official WTA calendar to be updated.
Vesnina has not played a match since the French Open 2018, in Paris she had climbed to the top of the double world rankings for the first time despite a first round defeat. In total, Vesnina won three major titles in doubles: at the French Open 2013, the US Open 2014 and Wimbledon 2017.
She celebrated her biggest individual victory in 2017 with the victory in Indian Wells, after which she was 13th in the individual. She also won the 2012 Olympic double medal.
