The Italian won the most difficult fight of her life so far and defeated cancer. This was announced by the 39-year-old, who had ended her active career in the fall of this year, on Twitter.
"Hello everyone, it has been very quiet around me for a long time. I would now like to tell you what happened to me. I have been diagnosed with cancer. I have undergone chemotherapy, fought a hard fight and am still breathing I won the fight and now I'm back, "wrote Schiavone.
