Former world number two Tommy Haas considers Alexander Zverev to be anything but without a chance in the quarterfinals of the French Open despite a "difficult task" against Carlos Alcaraz. "I wish that he goes in full and believes that he can win," said Haas on Monday in Paris before the eagerly awaited match on Tuesday afternoon (around 4 p.m. in our live ticker and on Eurosport): "If he's for everyone If he fights for a point and defends against it as best he can, then anything is possible."

Haas was also impressed by the 19-year-old Spaniard Alcaraz, who has already won four tournaments this year. "He's taken our breath away a bit in the past few months," said Haas: "He has no weaknesses." Alcaraz is already very tough and is one of the favorites in Paris behind Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.

Zverev would prescribe a slightly more offensive style of play for the 44-year-old. "He's always very far behind the baseline and I think he could play a bit more aggressively," said Haas, who thinks highly of the German number one: "He's a top player, one of the best players in the world."
