Since the facility in Roland Garros was not only hit by rain showers once on Monday, a full program awaits the fans on Tuesday. Naturally, the covered Court Philippe-Chatrier was not affected by the rain breaks, on which "only" four matches will take place on the third day of the tournament.
The program will be opened at 12:00 p.m. by Alize Cornet and Misaki Doi on the largest square in the facility, before Jo-Wilfried Tsonga could come to the final dance. The Frenchman contests the last tournament of his professional career at the French Open and meets Casper Ruud in round one. Then Paula Badosa gets into action against Fiona Ferro. Last year's finalist Stefanos Tsitsipas and Lorenzo Musetti will be honored in the night session not before 8:45 p.m.
Medvedev from 11:00 a.m. on Suzanne-Lenglen
World number two Daniil Medvedev meets Facundo Bagnis at 11:00 a.m. on the Suzanne-Lenglen court. After that, four local heroes, Richard Gasquet, Caroline Garcia, Hugo Gaston and Chloé Paquet, compete in the second-biggest place.
The highlight from a German perspective rises to Court Simonne-Mathieu in the fourth match of the day. In this, lucky loser Nastasja Schunk meets Simona Halep. In addition, Andrey Rublev, Jannik Sinner and Denis Shapovalov, among others, are also in action on Tuesday.
