Nick Kyrgios is aggressive again

The peace Nick Kyrgios made with fans, colleagues and himself was short-lived. On Sunday, the newly crowned double champion of the Australian Open 2022 made a sweeping attack on Instagram. First of all, against the media, who completely misinterpreted what he said after winning alongside Thanasi Kokkinakis.

"Fuck you, media, honestly," Kyrgios began. "I said nothing disrespectful to Ashleigh Barty . I said that the audience was amazing this year and that Thanasi Kokkinakis and I played a big part in that. Ash's father came to me and even said so. All I said was that when I play, the stadiums around the world are full. I grew up with Ash and always knew her potential.”

Kyrgios not a fan of Purcell

Max Purcell, against whom Kyrgios had won in the doubles final, also got really fat. "And to you, Max Purcell, you donut, regarding your post-match comments - you obviously have no idea about entertainment and sports. In case you haven't noticed, there's a reason people come to my matches and it's because my level and game is worth checking out.”

And further: "Next time you lose a Grand Slam final, you should just put your head down and try to figure out how to play the important points better. There's no need to put other Australians down in the media because people would rather watch paintball dry than you do with your serve-and-volley style of play.”
