It has grown quiet around good old genius Bouchard. Things were just going in the right direction for the Wimbledon finalist from 2014: From 330th place in August 2020, the Canadian had played back to 116th place in March of this year - and then: her shoulder struck. This had already caused a few problems since last autumn, in March a tear of the subscapularis followed and after a long period of conservative treatment, the inevitable operation followed in June ...

Genie is currently in rehab efforts, but at least she has apparently found something to bridge the gap: The expert is giving genius to the tennis channel in the USA for the tournaments in Washington and San Jose as well as for the first days of the 1000s in Toronto and Montreal.
Your first appearance? Genie already had, "I was so nervous, thanks for the help", she thanked moderator Brett Haber afterwards. "Are you sure that you haven't done that before?" He had praised her for her great debut.
There was no other reunion for her fans: In 2017 and 2018 she upgraded the Swimsuit Edition of Sports Illustrated, this year Naomi Osaka was responsible for this.
In return, as part of her work as an expert, she has an update on the comeback on the court: She hopes to be able to play fully again by the end of the year, explained Bouchard. In 2022 she wants to target the first tournaments again.
