Jan-Lennard Struff takes part in the "THIEMs7" tennis tournament in Kitzbühel. The 30-year-old number 34 in the world from Warstein replaces the Croatian Croatian Borna Coric, who tested positive for the corona virus on the much-criticized Adriatic tour.

The event, co-organized by top Austrian player Dominic Thiem, takes place from July 7th to 11th.
The tournament is endowed with a total of 300,000 euros in prize money, and up to 500 tennis fans will be able to watch the games at the Center Court in Kitzbühel live. In Struffs Group A there are also Thiem and Andrej Rublev (Russia) and Grigor Dimitrov (Bulgaria), who also announced a positive corona test after participating in the Adriatic tour.
On the official website of the organizers, however, the last word in terms of participants does not seem to have been spoken. "Due to the current situation and the players who tested positive for COVID-19, further changes in the game plan, in the player field and in the group composition are expected," it says here.
The young Austrians will also make their big appearance at THIEMs7 and will start the night sessions in the center court in a side tournament from 7th to 11th July.

For Sebastian Ofner, Jurij Rodionov, Lucas Miedler or for the two Tyroleans Alexander Erler or Sandro Kopp, the prize money is 20,000 euros. The two young Tyrolean stars Kopp and Erler will qualify for fourth place in the side tournament in a qualification.
From July 7th, the group games of the Austrians will start the night sessions at 6.30 p.m. The game is played over three short sets, with tie break in each set at stand 3: 3, and match tie break in the third set. A total of seven games are on the program for the young locals.
