Everything Juan Carlos Ferrero touches in his Equelite Academy turns to gold. In tennis, in which Ferrero has made it to number one in the ATP world rankings, Pablo Carreno Busta and Carlos Alcaraz , probably the most dazzling diamond in the rough, are reaping the fruits that they have sown working at the academy near Alicante in Spain . And the Equelite has also long been setting standards in the area of padel. And as the first professional padel academy .

On the one hand in the adult area: Sanyo Gutierrez, Argentinian, now 37 years old and four years ago number one in the world rankings, trains regularly in the Ferrero academy. Gutierrez is currently number five on the charts. So having two men who have for a while been the best in their discipline sharing their knowledge in the same facility makes the JC Ferrero Equelite Academy arguably unique.

The JC Ferrero Equelite Academy relies on padel offspring

The only 23-year-old Augustin Gutierrez shows that the JC Equelite Academy also offers a home to international padel professionals. The Argentinian wants to attack the absolute world top from 44th place this season. Argentina is currently the only nation that can act almost at eye level with the Spaniards in padel. In fact, the Albi-Celeste represent six of the top ten players on the World Padel Tour. However, the two top spots are (still) in Spanish hands. At the moment, players from Chile and Italy are also training at the Equelite Academy.

However, Juan Carlos Ferrero and his team pay particular attention to the next generation of the booming padel sport: As befits perfect training for professional padel players, young athletes are not only trained at the Equelite Academy, but also spend their everyday lives including schooling at Ferrero. And that's spread over the entire year - because the padel season at Juan Carlos Ferrero starts in January.
