Today it starts, the Laver Cup 2022 - and with yesterday's pictures you have to ask yourself whether the most legendary moment of the weekend was already there. Of course, tonight it's time to say goodbye to Roger Federer , but there has never been a picture like this before: Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray all in one place, training together - the "Big 4" united, playing tennis, together! /

On the one hand, of course: Federer/Nadal - after all, the two have to do doubles this evening (from about 9.30 p.m.), so they wanted to practice the joint line-up. Even if partly a show fight character hovered over the training doubles.

Murray: 'Djokovic celebrates with fruit juices'

But the "Big 4" were not only united on the court, after all, the Laver Cup consists of many joint activities (and beautiful photos for promotion), joint dinners, press conferences, coffee breaks and, and, and.

It goes without saying that one or the other anecdote was brought to light here - by the marketing department of the Laver Cup itself and by the colleagues on site. A small selection:

- Andy Murray revealed that Björn Borg teased him throughout the dinner (although they haven't really had that much interaction yet) and Novak Djokovic revealed that Murray settled the entire bill. Comment Murray: "When the others realized that I was paying the bill, they started ordering more and more."

- Novak Djokovic was asked which of the many battles against Federer came to mind. Djokovic named the 2007 US Open final that he lost, to which Federer thanked him. But he wasn't finished yet, Djokovic stepped in, and of course the 2019 Wimbledon final came up - "sorry, Roger". Federer joked back: "What happened there? I suppressed that."

- Oh yes, and these are the secret recipes for success? According to Murray, Djokovic celebrates his Grand Slam victories with fruit juices (Djokovic corrected: plant powder), while Djokovic explained that Nadal eats sand for breakfast.

Conclusion: The atmosphere is wonderful in London, the weekend can come.
