"No ambitions" - Wolfgang Thiem denies presidential rumor
Contrary to a corresponding message, Wolfgang Thiem has no ambitions to take over the leadership of the ÖTV.

According to a publication by heute.at , Wolfgang Thiem should be crowned ÖTV boss. To classify: On March 22, 2020 there will be early elections of the Presidium, which is currently headed by Interim President Christina Toth. "A prominent group" should then crown Thiem as head of ÖTV, the report says - the "Austrian Tennis Committee" (ATC), consisting of celebrities and business bosses as well as ex-professionals Thomas Muster and Barbara Schett.
As Wolfgang Thiem told tennisnet, he "has no ambitions for the post of ÖTV President".
However, he can imagine a role as sports director. "However, only if the next president of the association is a person who is beyond any doubt," said the father of Austria's top man Dominic Thiem.
