Görges (Bad Oldesloe) had knocked over on Monday in her lawn match at Steffi Graf Stadium against Latvian Anastasija Sevastova and gave up on the score of 3: 6, 3: 4. A longer break is not expected, "but it is painful," said Rittner.

For Görges, Alexandra Vecic (Immendingen) is entering the tournament, which will continue from Friday on a hard court in hangar 6 of the former Tempelhof airport (live on ServusTV and Eurosport). Vecic (18) had drawn attention to himself before the corona break with the semi-finals in the junior tournament of the Australian Open.
