ÖTV hope Sinja Kraus wins ITF title in Colombia
Young hopeful Sinja Kraus won her first title on foreign soil at the ITF 25 tournament in Colombia.

For 20-year-old Sinja Kraus, after winning two titles last year in Pörtschach and Villach, it is the third title at ITF level - the first outside of Austria. The Austrian showed fighting qualities in the final against local hero Emiliana Arango and finally won 6:7 (4), 7:6 (3) and 6:3. The ITF tournament in Mosquera, Colombia, was endowed with 25,000 US dollars.
This means that Kraus has moved up 25 places in the world rankings - since Monday the Austrian has been in 167th place. Julia Grabher from Vorarlberg remains the best Austrian in the WTA ranking.
