As head coach, Pascal Brunner, former Austrian champion and ATP top 400 player, will expand the coaching staff in Oberpullendorf with his many years of experience and international know-how.

The tennis academy is headed by Wolfgang Thiem. All his experience and know-how will flow into this academy. As the father and supervisor of Dominic Thiem, the best tennis player in Austria and Grand Slam winner, the highest quality is used here.

Wolfgang Thiem happy about signing Pascal Brunner

"We are pleased to have gained a head coach in Pascal Brunner, who has been internationally successful as a player in recent years and who, as a trainer, also has the necessary experience in competitive tennis through his work in various Austrian tennis academies." Academy director Wolfgang Thiem.

A 6-pillar model was set up especially for the development of tennis players from the age of 15 in order to accompany them in the best possible way on their way to becoming a tennis pro. For the U14 age group, a concept was developed together with the Burgenland Tennis Association to ensure later entry into competitive tennis at the Burgenland Tennis Academy. Since the state of Burgenland is an active supporter of the Burgenland Tennis Academy, it is possible to reduce the costs for players, parents and sponsors by up to 2/3 by fulfilling various requirements.
